- some time ago i bought an amiga 3000 along with a 1950 monitor from a gi. it`s
- both 110 volt hardware. that deal took place in germany, one of those
- 220volt/50hz countries. for voltage conversion he gave me a big ugly metal box
- and said something about 2000 watts or so and told me if that thing should
- ever break down i should check out army shops for replacement.
